RC Tank Trading/Buying

That's weird because they show up fine here and also on my phone, which is a completely separate account. Are you on a home PC? Maybe try looking at the thread on your phone?
Is anyone else unable to see the photos I've posted?

Can't either from my home PC.

This website drives me crazy. I just wrote a 4 paragraph post on my phone, explaining what happened here and all of a sudden it just disappeared. Great.
Anyway, thanks to my friend Tanque, I understand what happened and I will fix it, but it will have to wait until I get home from work tonight.
I won't be able to edit the posts above, another wonderful feature installed with the last "software improvement", so I'll have to just post the photos again in new posts. I've also noticed that it no longer saves your text in case of situations just like this. When will people learn, If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!
My apologies for any inconvenience this caused anyone.

OK, let's try this again. First the M51 Super Sherman project tank
This one is $300 plus shipping. Let me post this and we'll see how it works and then later I'll post more. After 10 hours on my feet in front of that lathe I'm not exactly energetic, but whatever I don't get posted today or tomorrow will get posted this weekend.

Next is an extremely rare and collectible item, the 1/10 all metal sherman offered by Bevan Johnston.
I've always believed that anything can be RCed, given enough skill, time and money, and this would be such a project. An excellent display piece, very, very well made and all metal. It does have some inaccuracies, you probably notice instantly that there's no loader's hatch, but a very, very rare and collectable piece none the less.
Asking price, $1,800

Back to 1/16
Tamiya Sherman, bare bones with nothing in the interior. This is ready for any project you might choose to use it for.
This tank is completely bare inside, with no gearboxes, but I'm told this was originally a full option Sherman and is predrilled for the twin gearbox set up.
Asking price is $200

Next is what we believe to be a 1/8 scale Jagdpanther that also comes with an upper hull, turret and rear glacis for a Panther, Kind of a two-in-one tank.
This tank came with a radio and we believe it runs, but further testing and more photos can be provided upon request.
Asking price on this one is $1,200

Here's an interesting box for someone that likes King Tigers. A box full of KT parts, some from static kits and one lower hull that appears to be from a full option kit with gearboxes. There are three turrets, two production and one pre-production, three upper hulls, mainly just a big box full of King Tiger parts.
The whole box for $250

Correction on the 1/10 Sherman, not made by Bevan Johnston, begun by Moody Braun and finished by Clarence Johnston after Moody passed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Gary,
Some great stuff - on the 1/10 sherm - the turret is not necessarily incorrect with no loader hatch. The early M4 Sherman did not have a loaders hatch. That was a mid production addition. That is a really nice early sherm. That may be a one of kind scratch build. How much does it weigh? I can't quite make out the size the images are very small. - Bob

Hey Bob, it's 1/10 scale. Jerry is familiar with this one and provided great info for me. I guess they did a limited production run, so it's not a one-off scratch build. Not sure how many they made but I know it wasn't many. It's all metal, but I have no idea how much it weighs. But, if you're interested I'll get it weighed for you.
And remember, all this stuff is listed with "asking" prices, so feel free to make an offer on any of it. Later on I'll be dropping the price of the KT and the Tiger One by 50 bucks.

PRICE REDUCTION!!
The Tamiya King Tiger has been reduced to $650 and the Tamiya Tiger One to $600. Both these have been tested and function just fine.
And don't forget, these are asking prices, so feel to make an offer. Ya never know, eh?

The 1/10 Sherman is sold.
Kind of surprised no one has shown any interest in the two remaining Tamiya tanks, both of which are well built and run fine. Feel free to make an offer, Fellas.

I'm rather surprised that no one has shown any interest in the 1/6 Armor Hobbies Sd.Kfz.250 halftrack kit, and I was thinking that may be because above all you can really see is a box, so I took some photos and a video of my own 250 kit, partially assembled. The kit listed above is brand new, still in the plastic bags, and I truly believe this would be an excellent candidate for conversion to RC. They do come up on ebay once in a while, which is where I got mine. It's listed here at $350 via paypal friends & family, plus shipping, but it's a light kit and shipping shouldn't be more that what you would pay to ship a 1/16 torro king tiger. This is what's in the box, shown here partially assembled
This photo shows the spare parts included, on top of the box that contains the complete, brand new kit
and here's a video showing how I plan to make this thing move under its own power, with steering, lights and sound.
As I said, it's $350 plus shipping and I really believe this would be a great project to get your feet wet in static conversions, and for the more experienced RC tanker it should be a piece of cake, ending with a fine RC model of a great looking little half track. I've always thought of the 250 as the "Sports Car of Halftracks" and it's going to the top of my "to build list". Naturally I'll do a thread and take videos of the project as it progresses, and if anyone is interested in the kit (which also comes with quite a few spare parts, like extra front wheels, and even a complete lower hull piece) just shoot me a PM.

Looking for my next Sherman, 1:16th scale, RC only, no empty tanks. Figured I would post here before I go buy another brand new one. Would love a Tamiya that is operational, Mato, Taigen 75mm, HL with the HVSS kit already on it. No Hoobens, as much as I want a Fury without all the labor to make one. Doing Oddballs Sherman from Kelly's Heros is high on my list. What do you have, paypal at the ready, or cash if your local.
