Futaba DLPH-1
Hi All,
I've always been a 'Futaba guy', but selecting an appropriate receiver has never been particularly easy, especially for the more giant scale models. I'm finishing up a 1/3rd scale Cessna L-19 Birddog powered by a DA-70 motor, and contemplating the DLPH-1 interface to provide dual battery and dual receiver redundancy for this model. I'm considering the R7003SB receiver, which is a 3 channel PCM receiver, but up to 18 channels with SBUS. I can't find any information that states this receiver works with the DLPH-1 interface. Does anyone know?
I need more than 8 channels, so I either have to go with the DLPH-1 or a higher channel count receiver like the R7014SB. I'm leery about using a receiver directly as my servos are mostly Hitech D954SW high torque digital servos, and I expect they will draw a healthy amount of current.
Any other options I should be considering?
John
